Manufacturing

Objective:

A manufacturer of packaging machines needed over 100 files translated into four languages along with complicated formatting requirements in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Challenge:

Within the 100 files, not every document needed to be translated through all four languages. While most firms strictly translate, our teams were able to format the content as well. We received all the files in English, each individual translation requiring a dual format of both English and foreign language on the same page. This detail complicated the document’s pagination due to the additional paragraphs extending the length of each page and altering the graphic and text relationship.

"Our client continues to request this format and we continue to translate for them."

Strategy / Result:

Each language team translated and formatted the content to the best of their ability. Then, we sent the “raw” files to one final formatting source. This simplified the process with only one group organizing, editing and making adjustments. Finally, the files were sent back to the translators for final review. Our client continues to request this format and we continue to translate for them.
